"Kineton Music Festival is a major community family and music event raising money for local charitable causes.

 

KMF emerged in 2013 with a multi-purpose mission.

The intentions were, and still are:

• to put on a stomping, family-friendly annual music event using local music talent

• to encourage the community to share in 'their' festival through volunteering and sponsorship

• and to raise funds for deserving charities

The profits from the festival are given to our chosen charities, with a portion retained to fund next year's event."

KMF is now preparing for it's 9th event and attracts over 2,000 festival goers over the course of the weekend.

 

We have been bowled over with the huge community involvement since our first year in 2013, but this unique event is only possible through the generous support of our local and corporate sponsors, who cover the majority of the festival’s running costs. They have been very supportive over the years and we are very grateful to them and the large number of volunteers who give their time before, during and after the event.

KMF promotes local musical talent, attracting professional amateur and music students of all ages from around the area.

​In total we have raised over £71,000 for charity. The local community has also benefitted as Kineton Sports and Social Club, a non-profit-making provision for the Village, has raised funds through sales of food and Bar-sales.
